On a road trip to escape a bit of heat in the city, Tommy hits the North West highway and heads for remoteness. His only travelling companions are a bag of mushrooms, half a dozen pre-rolled joints and a carton of beer.
The first thousand clicks offer little more than discomfort and boredom.
Discomfort and boredom however, quickly become a desirable state of being.
Tommy stops to help a group of oddly dressed people standing around a broken down van that has "The White Orchids" spray painted down both sides.
Caught up in a perfect storm that unites his state of mind, his belief that he can get along with anyone and his minimal knowledge of gothic fetish death metal bands, Tommy trusts them.
They offer him free drinks and a V.I.P pass for the gig in the next town.
Why would he refuse?
How could he refuse?
