The'Frank-Scienty' Episode

On a road trip to take some nude photographs, Tommy gets a call from an old friend, Frank Scienty.

Frank is an avante gard scientist and a senior member on the local council of a small coastal town.

Against his better judgement, Tommy surrenders to the lure of some quick cash and agrees to film the unveiling of Frank's new invention, the world's first perpetual energy system. 

Frank is a man of Science.

This is the most important day in his life.

A chance encounter leads to an accidental drugging, a forced change of identity, an environmental disaster and the creation of some small town folklore.

“What the fuck else could go wrong?” groaned Frank with restrained fury, “What else? The fucking dignitary isn’t even here yet!”

I saw my opening, “Actually, Frank, the dignitary is here.”

I held out my hand, “Harold Finksworth at your service.”
